2020-2021 Fall-Spring Class Schedule

Full Year - 30 Week Session - Classes Begin Week of September 14th

(Choose one day and time per class.)

Tap and Ballet - Ages 3-5  

A 60-minute class for preschoolers containing ballet, tap, and creative movement. Students will learn basic steps and terminology in ballet and tap, and explore their own creative movement styles through the use of imaginative music and games in a safe, positive environment. Students in this class will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age appropriate movement and exercises. Students will also learn and perform a tap routine and a ballet routine for our Spring Recital. (The same costume will be worn for both routines.)

Class attire: Any color leotard, skirt, and tights for girls. Any color shorts/dance pants and fitted top or leotard for boys. Boys and girls will need black tap shoes and black ballet shoes. (May be purchased at the studio.) Hair must be pulled up entirely away from the face.

Tuition: $352/pay in full, or 2 installments of $186 by semester, or 8 Installments of $49 each

Costume: $60-80; shoes additional

3 - 5  Tap / Ballet

Tuesday  4:00 - 5:00

Wednesday  5:30 - 6:30

5 - 7  Tap / Ballet

Thursday  4:30 - 5:30

Jazz and Hip Hop - Ages 5-7  

A 60-minute class for ages 5-7 that introduces the student to the steps, terminology, and technique of jazz and hip hop. Students will also explore their own creative movement styles through the use of imaginative music and games in a safe, positive environment. Students in this class will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age appropriate movement and exercises. Students will also learn and perform a jazz routine and a hip hop routine for our Spring Recital. A costume for each routine selected by the instructor will be required for the recital performance.

Class attire: Comfortable, non-baggy clothing (shorts, dance pants, leotard, or fitted top), along with black jazz shoes. (May be purchased through the studio.) For Hip Hop, clean tennis shoes that are not worn outside may be worn for class until specific shoes for recital routine are chosen. Hair must be pulled up entirely away from the face.

5 - 7  Jazz / Hip Hop

Tuesday  5:00 - 6:00

A 45-minute class for ages 7 and up that introduces the student to the steps, terminology, and technique of tap and jazz. Students will also learn and perform a tap routine and a jazz routine for our Spring Recital. (The same costume will be worn for both routines.)

Class attire: Comfortable, non-baggy clothing (shorts, dance pants, leotard, or fitted top), along with black tap shoes and black jazz shoes. (May be purchased through the studio.) Hair must be pulled up entirely away from the face.

7+ Tap and Jazz

Monday  4:30 - 5:15

Wednesday  4:00 - 4:45

Hip Hop - Ages 7+

This high energy 45-minute class teaches rhythm, coordination, and balance through age-appropriate movements set to fun upbeat music.  Students will also learn and perform a hip hop routine for our Spring Recital. A costume selected by the instructor will be required for the recital performance.

Class attire: Comfortable, non-baggy clothing (shorts, dance pants, leotard, or fitted top). Clean tennis shoes that are not worn outside may be worn for class until specific shoes for recital routine are chosen. Hair must be pulled up entirely away from the face.

7+ Hip Hop

Monday 4:45  -5:30

Pom and Cheer - Ages 7+

In this 45-minute class, students will learn cheer motions, jumps, and turns! They will also learn to incorporate tumbling and stunts into their routines.  Students will also learn and perform a pom & cheer routine for our Spring Recital. A costume selected by the instructor will be required for the recital performance.

Class attire: Comfortable, non-baggy clothing (shorts, dance pants, leotard, or fitted top), along with black jazz shoes. (May be purchased through the studio.) Hair must be pulled up entirely away from the face.

7+ Pom & Cheer

Tuesday  6:30 - 7:15

Lyrical - Ages 7+

Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz with expressive motions that tell a story. This is a 45-minute class where students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement. Students will also learn and perform a lyrical routine for our Spring Recital. A costume selected by the instructor will be required for the recital performance.

Class attire: Comfortable, non-baggy clothing (shorts, dance pants, leotard, or fitted top), along with tan canvas lyrical shoes. (May be purchased through the studio.) Hair must be pulled up entirely away from the face.

Tuition: $280/pay in full, or 2 installments of $148 by semester, or 8 Installments of $39 each

Lyrical Level 1

Monday  4:00 - 4:45

Ballet - Ages 7+/Pointe - Ages 12+

Ballet is the foundation of most modern-day dance forms. This beautiful and demanding technique is a necessity for all young, aspiring dancers. Level 1 is for students who are just starting in dance or are moving up from a 3-5 year old program. Level 1 is also for students who may have danced before but this is their first-time taking ballet or has not yet been informed by their instructor to progress to Level 2. Students must receive instructor approval before enrolling in a level 2 or 3 ballet class. Our pointe class is a beginning level class designed for the dedicated ballet student who would like to move into the advanced skills of pointe and is by instructor invitation only. Students should be at least 12 years old, taking Ballet Level 3 at minimum, and must try-out with an instructor in order to receive an invitation. Students will learn and perform a ballet/pointe routine for our Spring Recital. A costume selected by the instructor will be required for the recital performance.

Class attire: Ballet 1, 2, and 3 - black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be in a tight bun.

Tuition: Ballet 1 - $280/pay in full, or 2 installments of $148 by semester, or 8 Installments of $39 each

Ballet 2 -  $352/pay in full, or 2 installments of $186 by semester, or 8 Installments of $49 each

Ballet 3 - $403/pay in full, or 2 installments of $212 by semester, or 8 Installments of $56 each

Costume: $60-90, shoes additional

Payment options:

Monthly Installments:

8 payments September 2020 - April 2021 with first payment due upon enrollment or the first day of class and the following 7 payments due by the 10th of each month.

 

Pay per Semester:

Up to a 5% savings on your tuition.

Payment 1 due upon enrollment or the first day of class the week of September 14, 2020.

             Payment 2 due on or before January 15, 2021.

Pay in Full:

Up to a 10% savings on your tuition.

Payment due upon enrollment or the first day of class the week of September 14, 2020.

If full payment is not paid by end of week, the next payment rate applies.

Pay per 5 Week Session:

Payment due upon enrollment or the first class of each session.

(Available for gymnastics, tumbling, movement, and introductory programs only)

Late payments will be charged $10.00 each week the payment is late per student.

A $50.00 minimum is required the first week of the first semester if the total cost of tuition is not known.

Payments may be made in cash, by check, or credit card (Discover, MasterCard, or Visa).

Additional Savings Discounts:

Multi-student (in same household) – 1st student is full price, 2nd student 10% off, 3rd student 15% off, etc.

Multiple dance classes – 10% off each class when 2 or more classes are taken.

Gymnastics – 10% off each session, if enrolled in a dance class.

Refer a Friend and receive a Referral Reward.
