Welcome to Vera Academy!

We are proud to offer a wide range of gymnastics classes at all different skill levels. If your child has no experience with gymnastics, we have a class. If your child already has multiple skills, we have a class to help them continue to grow. We have founded this studio with the goal of creating a positive, nurturing environment for students to learn and grow in their skill and love of gymnastics.  

 

Gymnastics is offered in 5 week sessions. We also offer special pricing for those that would like to take gymnastics by semester (three 5 week sessions) or by year (six 5 week sessions). The 5 week session dates are as follows:

 

Sessions: (5 weeks each)**

Session 1: September 12 - October 16

Session 2: October 17 - November 20

Session 3: November 28 - January 15 (excluding December 19 - January 1)

Session 4: January 16 - February 19

Session 5: February 20 - March 26 

Session 6: April 3 - May 7

Session 7: May 8 - June 11

To help you determine which level your child should register for, these are the skills that must be accomplished before moving to the next level:

​

Level 1 – Forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, roundoff, tripod, headstand, handstand, and bridge.

Level 2 – Front straddle roll, back straddle roll, eggroll, press up headstand, press up handstand, handstand walks, one hand cartwheel, cabriole cartwheel, reverse cartwheel, fall to bridge, and handstand to bridge.

Level 3 – Handstand roll, dive roll, handstand varieties, diving cartwheel, roundoff with rebound, back walkover, and front walkover.

Level 4 – Handstand pirouettes, side aerial, punch front, front handspring, back handspring, and valdez.

Level 5 - Back tuck, back handspring back tuck, front aerial, roundoff back handspring, aerial combinations, and back handspring combinations.
